Meet Sarah Russell
Sarah Russell has a zest for life that is completely contagious. According to the entrepreneur and mother of two, spirited nature is commonplace among her fellow residents of Smithers. Keeping true to her style, Sarah makes it a priority to instil a fun atmosphere for both her staff and clients and her efforts have certainly come through.
Between her salon and scissor sharpening business, Sarah has managed to find the perfect balance that allows for some much-needed family time. “I love that I am in charge of my own destiny. It also allows me to work around my young children who have very busy schedules of their own,” says Sarah.
The Russell family moved to Smithers in 2007, and it didn’t take long to become a part of the community. “We have great community spirit,” says Sarah. “It’s a wonderful place to raise a family.” Smithers has been drawing in new residents regularly, and for good reason. The future looks bright in this beautiful mountain town!
