Meet Ali, Monica & Chris Howard
Siblings Ali, Monica and Chris Howard bought Nature’s Pantry in 2011 and are proud to be able to continue a business tradition that has been a quarter-century in the making. They’re even prouder of their staff, who they deeply appreciate for their commitment and dedication. In fact, they say of their staff, “We have the best in town! It is important to us to be able to offer a supportive work environment and provide jobs in a small town.”
Ali, Monica and Chris agree that Smithers has a very supportive business climate with a healthy balance of old and new businesses run by a variety of different kinds of people. “New businesses run by energetic younger entrepreneurs are shaking things up with new, innovative, ideas. This in turn, has sparked new energy in many of our long-time businesses,” notes Ali.
Not only is Smithers a great place to own a business, it’s a fabulous place to live too, according to Ali. “We all appreciate the sense of community in the valley. Of course, the excellent access to great facilities like our local pool, bike trails and ski hill only add to our enjoyment of having settled in the area.” The Howards take full advantage of all of these things when they aren’t busy at work, especially when it involves spending time outdoors.
Supportive. Open-minded. Empowering.
