Meet Paul & Angela Mott

Meet Paul & Angela Mott

Paul Mott was born an entrepreneur who craves the challenge of making things happen and the rush that comes from ensuing success. Buying Northwest Fitness Gym in 2004 was one of those challenges, and he and his wife, Angela, have put in a lot of effort over the years to improve it and keep on top of the latest developments in health and fitness. Paul appreciates being his own boss and being able to set his own hours. It gives him a deep sense of satisfaction to be able to invest in the people that work for him by mentoring them and seeing them grow in their skill and proficiency.

Paul is also grateful for the chance that business ownership has given him to invest in his own community. Paul grew up in Smithers and believes that the community provided him with many opportunities during his younger years to enjoy recreation and culture. Now it is his turn, and he makes it a point to actively contribute to the community, both financially and with his time.

Paul is now raising his own family in Smithers along with Angela. They love that Smithers is a safe place to live and is filled with people who care about and look out for one another. Small though it may be, Smithers has a lot to offer in the way of culture and recreational opportunities. Plus, adds Paul, you can get around quickly and easily here, even on foot or on a bicycle.
