Meet Hayley Wilson

Married couple Hayley Wilson and Frank McBride have taken a much-needed business idea and ran with it. In order for Hayley to remain present in her new role as a mother, she knew she needed to support her family on her terms. Their new tourism company has taken off with huge success, much to the thanks of the community of Smithers and local business owners.

“I have never met a friendlier or more welcoming community,” says Hayley. The world-class mountainous terrain had a lot to do with the leap into entrepreneurship, and for the new mom, showcasing local First Nation culture is also a major draw. Hayley loves learning about traditional native customs and wants to help share it with the world. As Canadians, it is important and insightful to learn about other cultures that lived harmoniously with the land for thousands of years. There’s a lot of self-growth that can come from sharing the experience of others.

When Hayley and Frank aren’t immersed in their tourism business, the two share their time with their young son. They enjoy getting out and experiencing the great outdoors for themselves, especially snowboarding, mountain biking and checking out new areas beyond their community.
