Meet Don Pederson, Tyler Pederson & Mitch Pederson
Both Aqua North Plumbing and the Pederson family that owns it have been entrenched in the local community for decades. In fact, Don Pederson has been here since the 1960s, and both Tyler Pederson and Mitch Pederson were born and raised in the community. Tyler, in keeping with the family profession, became a plumber while Mitch went on to business school after high school. Mitch and Tyler bought into the business partnership and, together with Don, have combined skill sets that have helped to keep the family business successful. As the Pedersons' business has grown over the last three decades, they have focused on maintaining a family feel by providing knowledgeable, friendly customer service and trustworthy business practices.
The Pedersons are a big hockey family, and in the winter time, you're as likely to find them on the ice as you are entangled in pipework on a job site. Don is a hockey coach and Tyler and Mitch both play. In the summer time, they turn their athletic efforts to activities like baseball, fishing or boating as well as camping. Most of all they like to just hang out together as a big extended family.
When it comes to business, "we have tried to build on what Don and Tom started here years ago," says Mitch. All three business partners work hard at keeping their customers happy, the business profitable and agree, "Our philosophy is somewhat simple, we try to work hard every day and provide straightforward communication with our customers. We tell our staff, 'treat our customers like we ourselves would like to be treated'," says Mitch.
